How It Works

 Eco-Sorter Fit Requirements:

Eco-Sorter expands from 8 inches to 13 inches. Please ensure that your trash can width fits within those measurements.

Eco-Sorter works with many but not all trash cans:

  • Works with any open top trash can 

  • Works with most trash cans that have an internal bin that sits within an external shell 


  • DOES NOT work with trash cans that have a lid connected to the back of the trash can where the Eco-Sorter would attach (impedes closing of lid) 

  • DOES NOT work with trash cans that have an inner ring for holding bags (ring sits on top of Eco-Sorter)

     

    Recommended Testing:

    • If you are unsure if the Eco-Sorter will work with your trash can lid, we recommend testing with a piece of cardboard. (For example: a shipping box top). Fold in an L shape and place where the Eco-Sorter would connect to your trash can. If the lid will close over the cardboard, it likely will work with the Eco-Sorter.
        
    • You can also return your Eco-Sorter within 30 days if it does not work for any reason. See our refund policy HERE.
