 Does the Eco-Sorter work for all garbage cans?

The Eco-Sorter works for most but not all garbage cans. Please review our FIT REQUIREMENTS to determine if the Eco-Sorter is right for you.

Is the Eco-Sorter only for collecting compost?

No! The Eco-Sorter can be used in any situation where dividing a container into adjustable size spaces would be helpful. Separating trash and compost, separating trash and recycling, separating two different types of recycling, even separating different types of toys or craft supplies.

I don't know what items are compostable. Can you help?

If you are composting in your own backyard, click HERE for generally accepted items for backyard composting. 

If you are collecting compost that is picked up by your waste management company, accepted items can vary depending on the area. Check online with your city/county or waste management company - they will have a list of accepted items.
